Albert will be launching his Cheap Suit ‘Expanded Edition’ album at Music Makers Festival. The album will be released on 5th October 2019 in conjunction with Albert’s performance at the festival.
The album was originally released in 2016 and hasn’t been available online for a while. The 'Expanded Edition' will contain 26 tracks which is 15 more than in the original release. It will contain a previously unreleased bonus track ‘I Need To Confess’, a radio edit of ‘I Think I Probably Really Like You’ as well as stripped-down versions of each track.
Albert has received numerous plays on BBC Introducing in London, BBC Essex and BBC Leicester and recently played live on air at BBC Radio London. He is also a Fresh On The Net favourite having had tracks chosen by Tom Robinson's Fresh Faves five times now.
Albert had sold out shows for his ‘Say Something Loving’ single launch (www.albertman.com/ssl) and his EP launch of ‘Nothing Of Nothing Much’ (www.albertman.com/nonm). The EP launch at St Pancras Old Church resulted in a live album called 'Live At St Pancras Old Church' (www.albertman.com/live).
He also released a self-produced album called 'Cheap Suit' (www.albertman.com/cheapsuit) in 2016 which won the 'Best Independent Album' award on the Alternative Friday blog.
Albert recently supported 'Public Service Broadcasting' on during their 'White Star Liner' tour and also performed just before his heroes 'Chas and Dave' in 2017.
In addition to selling out his last two launch nights and performing at many UK festivals (The Great Escape, Camden Rocks, Liverpool Sound City, Tramlines and Standon Calling), he also organises and runs Music Makers Festival.
